
Cine Mosaic was founded in 2002 by independent producer, Lydia Dean Pilcher, as a production company committed to producing feature films for theatrical release and for television. With an energetic focus on entertaining stories that promote social, cultural and political diversity, Cine Mosaic is based in New York City. Pilcher has produced over 27 feature films and is presently in post-production on “Amelia,” the story of the famous aviatrix, Amelia Earhart. The film is directed by Mira Nair, and stars Hilary Swank, Richard Gere, and Ewan McGregor. Pilcher recently produced Wes Anderson’s film, “The Darjeeling Limited,” and “The Namesake,” based on the novel by Jhumpa Lahiri, directed by Mira Nair. Both were released theatrically by Fox Searchlight, 2006-2007. |
