Mandy began her career in 2001, with a publicity position at Sony Pictures London, after which she returned to her native New York to run
development and production efforts for Alfonso Cuarón's production company,
Esperanto Filmoj. Until January 2012, Courtney Served as Director of Development at Cine Mosaic, which she joined in 2007. With Cuarón, she tackled Post-Production Supervision and Production Coordination for Guillermo del Toro's Oscar-winning "Pan's Labyrinth" and international
thrillers "Crónicas" and "The Assassination of Richard Nixon." She also contributed to
Cuarón's acclaimed films "Y Tu Mamá También" and "Children of Men," among others.
In 2007, Mandy advanced to building development slates and securing productions for
independent production companies. She worked with distinguished companies such as
the Tribeca Film Festival, dynamoCapital, Reason Pictures, Gigantic Pictures and Gray
Krauss DesRochers LLP, and with talented filmmakers Marshall Curry, Carlos Cuarón,
Rodrigo Guerrero, Andí Baíz, Guillermo Arriaga, Tom Donahue, Dito Monteil and
entertainment attorney Jonathan Gray.
In 2009, she combined her experience and relationships to independently develop feature
films with a group of international writers, while continuing to consult for various
companies. She joined Cine Mosaic in March 2012 as Director of Development, and is
thrilled to be working in this creatively rewarding environment.
